Founded in 2026, Sky RISE Hub is a community-based maternal and young family resilience initiative supporting vulnerable youth in Kampala’s informal settlements.
We focus on pregnant adolescents, young mothers, and young fathers, especially those living in poverty or affected by HIV.
Through integrated health support, mentorship, and livelihood pathways, we help young families navigate pregnancy safely and build stronger futures. Our approach ensures that maternal health support continues beyond childbirth into long term family stability.
In Uganda’s urban informal settlements, too many young mothers face pregnancy without adequate preparations, care, income, or support from their partners and the community systems. Health shocks, poverty, and isolation combine to put both mother and baby at risk.
